Sinopsis:

“Kung Fu Dunk” es la "adaptación" cinematográfica del manga y anime “Slam Dunk” de Takehiko Inoue. Sin embargo, para evitar problemas legales, el film fue renombrado como “Kung Fu Dunk” (además, según los fans, esta película se aleja mucho del manga)

La historia se centra en un huérfano estudiante de Kung Fu que se convierte en un exitoso jugador de basketball y esta protagonizada por la superestrella de la música taiwanesa Jay Chou, junto a Charlene Choi, Wilson Chen, Eric Tsang y Baron Chen.

“Kung Fu Dunk” fue dirigida por Yen-ping Chu y presenta el mismo tipo de secuencias de acción fantásticas y físicamente imposibles de la película de Stephen Chow “Shaolin Soccer” y “Prince Of Tennis” de Yûichi Abe
